Progress on the foundations is well underway, with the lower ground floor slab now poured and excavation work commenced on the ground floor slab. The ground floor slab will be partly founded in the ground and partly a suspended concrete slab supported by pre-cast concrete walls which are currently being fabricated 300km away. The transportation and erection of the pre-cast panels will commence in the next fortnight.

Under slab stormwater and sewer pipework has been wrapped and ready for reinforcing placement and the concrete slab to be poured

Accuracy in locating these services is critical as these services will be concealed within internal walls and be required to connect to storm water and sewer services up to 3 storeys above

The lower ground floor slab is boxed and only now requires placement of reinforcing prior to pouring the slab

The lower ground floor slab is now completed. Reinforcing bars and the slab edge rebate allow for the future installation of the pre-cast concrete panels. Work on excavating the ground floor slab has commenced at the rear of the site
